Exploring the Energetic Universe 2017

August 6 -13, 2017-Nazarbayev University, Astana, Kazakhstan

Overview

The Energetic Cosmos Laboratory (ECL) announces its inaugural international conference “Exploring the Energetic Universe 2017”, to take place August 6-13, 2017 at Nazarbayev University (NU) in Astana, Kazakhstan. The conference focuses on cosmology and the high energy universe, with major session themes of Cosmology, Gamma-ray Bursts, and Advanced Detectors (including MKIDs and other cryogenic sensors). Come join us for several days of leading speakers and plentiful opportunities for scientific interaction and collaboration, in Astana, one of the most unusual built environments in the world, with opportunities to visit the attractions and exhibits of World Expo 2017 (theme: Future Energy) just across the street, and many more activities in the city and surrounding area.
